About the Staff

Aleah Johnson

Assistant Manager/Client Representative

Initially, Aleah Johnson was drawn to Cram Crew after Zoe, already a close friend, spoke about how much she loved her job and the company. Aleah found that Cram Crew had a big vision and she wanted to contribute to its success and growth.

As Client Representative, Aleah assists members with their accounts and provides information about services to any potential clients. Her drive and communication skills have made her successful in maintaining existing clients and securing new ones, and her commitment to Cram Crew and its vision eventually lead to her becoming the Assistant Manager.

Originally from California, Aleah grew up in Georgetown, Texas. She relocated to Houston to attend the University of Houston and to begin work at Cram Crew. Currently, she is studying public relations in order to pursue a possible career in either sports or fashion - a passion reflected by her signature curly hair and impressive shoe collection. She loves to read and travel and is a fashion, sports, animal, and music enthusiast.

John Kirk

Operational Support

John Kirk provides operational support for Cram Crew, ensuring that consultants have the tools - both in hand and in mind - they need to deliver professional educational service to each client. Starting with Cram Crew as a verbal consultant in 2008, John was invited to be a part of the office team to help build a strong professional development program and streamline Cram Crew's pedagogical tools. Eventually, he moved into the management team, integrating his previous work in Cram Crew's didactic training into the day-to-day ministration of consultants.

A native of Canal Fulton, Ohio, "Captain" Kirk, as he is known in the office, aspires to be an Organist Choirmaster. Currently he is the Director of Music at Holy Trinity Episcopal Church. His grammatical expertise keeps our em and en dashes in line and his unpredictable witticisms keep us on our toes.

Fernanda Zovath

Recruiter/Client Representative

As Client Representative, Fernanda Zovath customizes Cram Crew services by matching students with the correct package and consultant, assuring that clients' academic and scheduling needs are met. Her love for algebra and interest in education first brought her to Cram Crew as a math consultant, but the welcoming, relaxed, and engaging environment of the office drew her to the position of Client Representative.

Recently, she was also appointed as Cram Crew's recruiter. She reviews résumés and ensures candidates' academic credentials and personalities are a good match for Cram Crew and its clients.

Unofficially, Fernanda serves as the office handy-woman. Although a tool belt is not one of her wardrobe staples, her skills with a hammer are admired by all in the office.

Fernanda successfully balances her two positions at Cram Crew with school at the University of Houston, where she is currently pursuing a degree in communications. Originally from Mexico City, she speaks Spanish fluently and hopes to learn at least five languages in her lifetime.
