| The ACT is a standardized achievement examination for college admissions in the United States produced by ACT, Inc., and is offered approximately six times a year. The exam is proctored at multiple locations and is administered in about four hours. Candidates may choose either the ACT assessment ($31), or the ACT assessment plus writing ($46).
