Star Award Recognition

On February 19th, Cram Crew was the proud recipient of the West Houston Chamber of Commerce’s Star Award Honorable Mention for existing businesses with less than twenty-five employees.  The award was presented at a luncheon held at the Omni Houston Westside that was attended by over 500 West Houston business leaders.

The Star Awards are given annually to recognize businesses in West Houston that have shown exceptional business growth, contributed significantly to the community, and are consistently recognized by their customers.

Cram Crew credits the award to its dedicated clients.  Cram Crew’s growth over the past fourteen years has been fueled almost exclusively by client referrals.  This has not only spurred Cram Crew’s economic growth, but is also the impetus that allows Cram Crew to make a significant difference in the West Houston community.   Furthermore, without a team of dedicated, expert consultants, Cram Crew’s success would be impossible.

As Cram Crew enters 2010, it looks to continue focusing on doing what it does best: insuring that today’s students become tomorrow’s leaders.

Cram Crew Featured in the Mustang Express

Cram Crew was recently thanked by Memorial High School’s Mustang Express for helping out with their PTA. They write, “Last semester, MHS PTA sponsored a parent/student forum called, ‘Preparing for College.’ We would like to thank one of the forum participants, Cram Crew, not only for supplying Subway sandwiches to the many hungry parents and students, but also for the raffle prize they offered. The prize, a session of SAT prep (valued at $895) for one lucky student was won by Memorial parent, Shelly Caton. In addition, Cram Crew made a contribution to the PTA of $642.50, which was added to the Greenback fund to purchase technology items for MHS. Thanks to Cram Crew!”

Cram Crew, Inc. Recognized by Houston Business Journal as One of Houston’s Best Places to Work

In its seventh year, the Houston Business Journal’s Best Places to Work program drew more than 180 nominations from companies that were impartially evaluated, scored, and ranked exclusively by anonymous surveys provided by their employees. In the end, Cram Crew was among the 52 winning companies, ranking 13th in our category. The list recognizes fresh and inviting work environments that attract employees through benefits, working conditions and company culture.

Cram Crew employees were given the opportunity to complete an online survey. Questions were broken down into 10 categories, a few of which include alignment with goals, feeling valued, team effectiveness, individual contribution and manager effectiveness. Our overall score was 95.49%.

“We are excited to have been named as one of Houston’s Best Places to Work,” commented Deepak Thadhani, President of Cram Crew. “We value our staff and work diligently to create an environment for personal growth and achievement as well as success for the company. We are proud of them and the way they represent Cram Crew with every session they hold. We are honored by the recognition that the Houston Business Journal has brought to Cram Crew.”

This is our first year to be nominated and to place 13th out of 52 recognized companies is quite an honor for our company. The results of our surveys show that we are more than just a business; we are a place to grow.
